A fitting send-off for a brilliant group of children! In our final celebration assembly, our school choir performed for Year 6, who then sang back "There's no place like home " from their show earlier in the week. Lovely scenes with friends and family at the end of the day, celebrating these fantastic children as they end their time at Willow Tree

A brilliant opening performance of The Wizard of Oz from Year 6! Fantastic acting, singing, costumes, stunts (!) and moving pictures and reflections of the children's time at Willow Tree. Really looking forward to this evening's sold-out performance! Due to being at full capacity this evening, please do not attend if you have not booked a place for every member of your party as there are no spare spaces!

Really looking forward to sports day tomorrow! It's going to be hot so make sure you bring a hat, full water bottle and come to school in PE kit with suncream applied! Families are welcome for all or part of the day - we'll be taking part in fun sporting activities in the morning, a whole school family picnic at lunchtime (in the shade), and some competitive races in the afternoon. We are aiming to finish by 2pm before it gets too hot, and you will be able to take the children home at that point if you wish. Willow Tree CP School PTFA - Harrogate will be selling drinks and food throughout the day, we look forward to seeing you there!

This morning we welcomed Harrogate Library to introduce their exciting Summer Reading Challenge! There are lots of other activities available over the holidays at Harrogate and Starbeck library for the children to enjoy. One of the prizes is to win a free-swimming voucher for Harrogate or Knaresborough pool!
